You gotta use OmniWeb and set the browser recognition thingy to Windows IE. Then you can still access the crapfest. The search engine works now, so it's easier to find out how limited their selection actually is.

It'd be kind of cool if, when people loaded into that, it debunked everything BuyMusic was trying to pull over peoples' eyes authoratitively - otherwise, people will just say "Oh, whiny Mac users."

Yeah, some of it isn't right, but for the most part it was amusing.... not that I'm saying amusing == effective.
the nimrods at buymusic forgot one thing... if they're not careful, they'll send buyers TO apple, not away from them.
Already happened with me. I'm a channel surfer so I only saw the middle of the "Rapper's Delight" ad and just assumed because of the white background and person singing with headphones on, it was an Apple commercial. I wonder how many other people will mistake the ad. I guessing a whooole bunch.
can go the other way too. buymusic ad comes on: "oh yea this is the cool company that does the cool ads with people singing on white backrounds, i heard it was a great music service, what's there name again? ah look it says buymusic.com, lets go there"

Make sure you have iTunes 4 and Quicktime 6.3 installed.
