And now they have updated Server as well (57MB). 13 updates in less than a week!

Just for the record, my Rev B 12 inch PBG4 is not experiencing the fan problems reported by others.

I think the Apple engineers got into the holiday spirit and tried to rewrite the "12 Days of Christmas". Something like:

"On the first day of Christmas, we'll release the G5 firmware update."

Hard to make it rhyme though.

I'd rather have a hot PowerBook than a noisy one that wastes power. Options are always nice though. But whatever. I guess I'll wait for 10.3.3.

Why do people install the CHUD utilities without knowing what they do? *SIGH*... The hardware pane comes from CHUD. You've installed them, apparently, with the dev tools.

Sorry I forgot about that but why didn't it show up when I installed the developer tools I swear it only appeared after a recent update.

Oh yeah and I was using some of the utilities in the developer tools that?s why I installed them ya gota start somewhere.

Anyway the hard drives in this old Mac are a bit flaky possibly the icon didn?t install properly or I might have messed it up no matter thanks for the info.

Also if you think I don't need the [Computer Hardware Understanding Development Tools (CHUD Tools)] do you know how I could get rid of them? and if I should?

With Silent Night in 10.3.2 are there any problems? It shouldn't theoretically mess anything up, right? It simply puts the fan extension from 10.3.1 in to 10.3.2?
