So have I. You just don't acknowledge them. Yours of course is always tempered with Bush colored glasses. Everytime I've posted a reference you've always had the same response as quoted in my last post. Of course yours are much more credible.

    In a pig's eye.

So why talk at any great length with you? The only thing worth my while is poking holes in your very subjective logic.

Sure sounds like it if they are still having hearings in march.

Say, I wonder if that will have any impact on the upcoming

    election?

And there's a lot of it in AO.

Respond? No, that's not what I'm suggesting. Democrats have been doing nothing but "responding" for the last few years. Responding gets you dick in the political world. We (Dems) have to take the fight to them instead of waiting for the next salvo. Frame the issue, present the ideas, co-opt their issue, make them look silly over their precious wedge-issues, continue framing. That's what they've successfully done to the Dems since 1993.

Am I angry and unreasonable? Absolutely!

So it's ok for you to complain about being attacked, but not ok for someone possibly move level headed to complain about everyone else attacking each other? Seems odd to me. But if you guys want to duke it out in perpetual battle, so be it. [/B]

Battle? I haven't seen a real battle at all. The Dems have rolled over and played zeta-male since BushCorp broke into office. The Dems approve an astonishing number of judges and we still get bitch-slapped by the right. The Dems approve all these outrageous spending bills out of complete fear for their political asses and WE STILL GET SHAT UPON by Tom Delay. The Repugs use intimidation and bribery to get their votes and the Dems sit idly by. Battle? What battle?

My tone has changed considerably over the last few months. I've tried using civil discourse to argue my point. I believe I've made considerable, thoughful arguments about my positions. I just get laughed at and called an un-American terrorist sympathizer. That's fine. I've decided to no longer be reasonable. I've decided to no longer concede anything. I've decided it's time to point my finger in some chests!

You must be referring to The Bush Tax. I don't really remember my standard of living being all that cozy when I consider that my property taxes are skyrocketing, my daughter's college tuition is going up exponentialy, not to mention that I will have to pay $52.000 more over six years to cover the national debt.

Also, I never got that refund check. Did you?

Oh, wait. You're referring to the upper 1% and their cozy standard of living. Got it.

From your unbiased link: Rather than take responsibility for our common future, Bush has shifted costs to states and communities, who then pass them on to you. That?s the Bush Tax.

So what you're saying is that you prefer another level of bureaucracy to manage YOUR money more efficiently. Pure genius.

That is an excellent point. There's a bit more going on here than meets the eye.
