Yet Apple has deliberately used the word "PC". Thus implying that this is going to be quite a revolution, whilst at the same time making a reference to Star Trek. Voice recognition? Tablet PC?

I think I got it. Which chip was it that's codename was V'Ger? V'Ger because of a Star Trek episode where Voyager went so fast it got lost somewhere, and when they found it back, on the letters V, G, E, R were left on it. I seem to recall there was a chip (G4? G4+? G5?) which had this codename because it was much, much faster...

Holy shit! I never thought about that! That would be a cool reference.

You're not putting a computer in your car? I think I will.

My guess: Apple + Honda == Happy (of course a name like that would work in Japan but not in the US or Europe...) a car designed to look like an iMac and connect with your iPod.

    &lt;edit: I can't believe I participated in this thread&gt;

Don't forget the old rumor that Apple had hired Majel Barret (Gene Rodenberry's wife), you know the voice of the Enterprise's computer, to be the voice of Mac OS X when it finally got the upgraded SPEECH components!!

Plus, Peter Brady - you know.

Shit, the minutes till Macworld are getting more and more nasty. How about some time travelling till twenty minutes before Macworld, that gives you time to get some popcorn and a beer.

And what about this kormac thing?

Regarding the port of Mac OS X to Intel hardware...

Didn't Be already try that (and ultimately fail) with the BeOS?

Didn't NeXT already try that (and ultimately fail) with OpenStep?

Didn't IBM already try that (and ultimately fail) with OS/2 Warp?

Didn't Amiga already try that (and ultimately fail) with Amiga OS?

    I'm sure there are more...

When did the classic Mac OS run on x86 hardware? To my knowledge, this was never made public.

Ouch!!!! Can you get burned any worse than that!!! I bet it's Steve checking the rumor sites just loving every minute of it, laughing his butt off at some of the sh!t that's starting to fly.

How would you like to be totally discredited for the whole world to see by Apple, not that SpyMac had any credibility with me anyways, but there were people buying into it (must not have seen the 1st iWalk "mockup").

I'm gonna pee my pants if I don't stop laughing.

Why do you get forwarded to <a href="http://fury.com/index.php"; target="_blank">http://fury.com/index.php</a>; if you don't do anything at Apple's site?

Has anyone else had this experience or am I losing my mind.
