Just wondering - there really should be more UK guys round here. The closest to Harrow I've got in my short term so far as a Med student is Northwick Park Hospital - It looks Like Chernobyl General - Radiotherapy on all floors and for a 30 mile radius !

Anyhow, that was my first reaction, but hay, I'm still alive!

I did my degree in the University next to Northwick Park hospital! And I've been taken to the A&E there a few times too! Hahaha... but anyway, I doubt if Micro Anvika (big London Apple Store) will be showing the keynote... which will be at around 5pm in the UK right?

We are all going to fall asleep like when we were kids waiting for Santa Claus to show up, then we will wake up 7 hours after the keynote. LOL,... I just had to post on this thread at least once. I have my credit card in hand and I am sitting here just waiting for the new Power Macs. I just hope the hype is for a super fast tower and not for the iCarStereo served by Apple's i-InTheSky internet service. Oh well, have fun everyone, cant wait to read the threads tomorrow, it will be almost as much fun as this.

One of the main reasons I'm so hyped is that I just so happen to have a few K lurking in the bank account ready to buy a new Mac when my leased G4 goes back on Jan 20th... a new product revamp would be sooopah dooopah... I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks either... this IS JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS WHEN I WAS A KID!!! [actually I hope it isn't... I never seemed to get what I wanted!] <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" /> ]

its not like we actually win anything anyway...

I think someone said the person to get the 1000th post gets a free iPod or something stupid like that...

But becuase it means so much to you, I concede...

    It's not about conceding!

    It's about arguing!

Doesn't really mean all that much, I just like to argue. Plus I'm right!

Wow. I went away to eat dinner and this thread really took off.

Any way, the excitement I felt this morning when I read the new slogan still hasn't worn off. For the past week, I'd read the new slogan in the morning, be really excited, but it would die down by the afternoon.

Apple, all I have to say is that you'd better not let us down!

    Its nightynight for me too.

But I´ll leave you all with a little assignment:

Its a program called iHam on iRye

    <a href="http://www.stimpsoft.com/"; target="_blank">Download it here</a>

It is a remote control over L/WAN for iTunes but I can´t figure out if its also serves as an live MP3 server. If anyone have downloaded it please try if you can use my iTunes.

    IP: 80.62.38.37

    Login: AI

    Pass: Kormac

(and no it doesn´t work outside iHam on iRye so don´t even try screw with my HD over ftp okay?)

You can´t use my MP3s (too low bandwith and we don´t want to get sued ) but you should be able to get the file "on the war" which is a 48 kbps document read by one of the voices in MacOS.

please please please try it. And if anyone have the iServer running please give (or mail) me your IP, login and pass so I can try it th other way.

If it doesn´t function as a server for your computer fell free to play whatever you want from it. I will be listening to iTunes from now until I fall asleep (a couple of hours) and I would be pleased to know it works by hearing Speed metal at full volume just before I fall asleep (and no I don´t have speed metal on my HD. Nothing you can find at least )

    Oh I almost forgot:

Please wait 15 minutes to try it. I have to download the newest software or it won´t work.

Psantora, It is all about the argueing...

I just like to slip that "I concede" thing in there whenever I can in a discussion... to salt the wound...

It gives the impression that I am right...

    which I am...

    lol...

    just kidding...

The sad thing is that this is the first time that a lot of people will see the Newton. People always want to know why I hate grafitti on the Palm. What you see is why.

Continuing with the superstition theme, we should get at least 1.33 Ghz G4's. Can we get that total to 1.6?

    BTW?

Anyone think Apple will put up one more slogan for the morning of the keynote, to stay up untill stevenote is finished???
