Anyone think Apple will put up one more slogan for the morning of the keynote, to stay up untill stevenote is finished???

I'd say yes to both. 1.6 GHZ is not too far fetched and tomorrow AM I expect something else, maybe a picture of a gift wrapped up with a bow....

Considering that Apple must change the number in the countdown, a final slogan is almost guaranteed. Of course, it may say nothing more than "Macworld is Here." However, I do not know the likelihood that the slogan will be another teaser.

It might just be a link to watch Steve Jobs' keynote via Quicktime.

that would suck. I'm sure apple has one last slogan, even if it is "one more thing"

What impact might a 70,000 pieces per month order have on the prize of the Power4 (for now it's a low quantity, high prize proc.,but...)? What does it mean to it's prize if Apple commits to use only IBMs G4s for its consumer line (and Moto is out)?

I did my degree in the University next to Northwick Park hospital! And I've been taken to the A&E there a few times too! Evil Ed representing the UK too: Fareham, near Portsmouth. Warmest part of England... which isn't very warm at all

If this goes on much longer, we'll need a G5 just to view this thread!

I'm in agreement with you (except for the fact that it's PRICE, not PRIZE

I think the Power4 at unknown speeds is a good guess.

Yes we cannot live without its UBB displaying units. Someone told me it can compute 1048576 posts in each 1024 treads in 64 forums per second  How many miliflops is that

And who have tried my iTunes? It worked here but did anyone hear anything?

I'm going to say it will all be about contrasts -- a nexus between the old & the new...

For example, they will probably keep the CRT imac at the low end, and have the Flat-panel imac in the upper eschelon.

Same thing for the Power Mac...

G4 on the low end...introductory G5s in the upper tier

    And finally

A faster G4 PowerBook (finally) tinted black to match the new pro towers. The new Black G4 powerbook will have an 800MHz G4 processor and a better mobile graphics chip, plus the addition of another FW port, and a 1/2-pound less in weight.

Not to say I don't believe you but that tag line seems a little too long (too many words) to fit in there current space.
