I think the point is now to reach 1000 posts before the keynote and/or the inevitable AI shutdown. Come on people, let's bring this server to its knees! HAHHAHA!

Ok, forget photoshop... After effects and commotion 4 are the tools for this job, FCP3 as well maybe, both can easily be pirated, although this german is a pro with to much spare time on his hands.

Look, with this on his resyme, he'll be able to pick any advertising job he wants...

Whoa. The design sounds much like the flatpanel consumer PCs out there already but I guess Apple can make it better.

I just went to Spymac. Bunch of worthless hoax, looks like to me. Apple would have quashed it already if there was any truth to it.

    News flash:

Apple's legal counsel isn't exactly the "The Eagle"

You can be damn sure that Apple's representation has a presence in the EU and is more than capable of scaring a bunch of German teens into shutting their site down.

Just threaten to take away their Canon GL-1 and copy of AE and FCP3.

Reason #193 why iWalk is a hoax: Look at the round icons on this picture:

    <a href="http://www.spymac.com/iwalk/pics/iWalk_Still05.jpg"; target="_blank">Picture

Those icons are not custom made but Webdings (isn´t it a MS font? ) characters. Would Apple have done that? Don´t think so.

Can´t remember anyone pointing that out here. I got from the boards at mediamac.dk

[Edit: replaced picture with link so you don´t need to register at spymac to visit AI ]

Aparantly the OS 10.2 pics were taken off the site, so... Why take one off and not the other if threatened by legal action?

(but this still gives me doubt)

you people know that this is NOT DVD quality film. Its a compressed .mov file!!

Sure there are artifacts and such. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS!!

That is not a software glitch. You're saying that due to software or compression, that it just dropped a bunch of frames leaving out part of the turn. Yet, the hand continues to turn the wheel, moving forward without any skip.

Has there been a thread yet that has addressed the fact that if the iWalk is real, why hasn't Apple legal stepped in yet?

No, but it's been mentioned in this thread... probably good proof that it is fake.

Tho it was also mentioned that if SpyMac did claim that Apple asked them to remove it, that wouldn't mean it was real -- because SpyMac could make that up to try and add to their credibilty.

    Fun.

Though I can confirm that the spoken words are german, I don't know any german speaking country using this kind of power socket as seen on the table - looks spanish to me, but who cares ...strange anyhow

Even though I think its a fake, I'm not so sure about the thing about the wheel not turning at first is necessarily proof against its exisyence. I mean, everyone here seems to agree that it is an actual physical object, and that the wheel is also a physical object- look at the turning.mov. It also seems to turn- after the logo starts to turn, the reflections on the wheel itself appear to move realistically. if someone has gone to the effort of getting that bit right, surely they would notice the jerky non turning bit? perhaps there is something in this compression artefact thing. Anyway, for what its worth, I don't expect an apple PDA any time soon- Steve jobs has been doing them down too much recently.

aww, shucks mac, that means a lot

I think the main thing that was good about it was that I argued well. Not like now when I act like an ass and resort to name calling

I've tried my best to find an archive of it but have come up empty. a shame
