I should be placing my order for a 20" with 256mb VRAM within the next couple of days.
Let me know how that works out. I'm going to be doing the same thing in about a month (once the money comes in). I'm really wondering how big of a difference ordering with the 256 and not the 128 x1600 will make a difference.
I'm thrilled to no end with my 24 (Maggie), and one of the reasons I chose the 24, besides being the largest, is the NVIDIA video controller is only offered on the 24. I was curious as to why you chose yours over the less expensive models?

It didn't. The no interest loan I was getting considered my Apple Store cart to be an estimate instead of an invoice. Right now the options are drive three hours to the nearest mall with an Apple store, drive an hour and a half to CompUSA in Madison, buy a PC instead, or scrap the idea and let my problem plauged G3 iBook (and now beyond the motherboard replacement program) solider on as my main computer. This people is why Apple needs more retail outlets. It's not practical for everyone to go to their nearest metropolis with an Apple store.
I too thought a display couldn't be too large until I saw one in person.
I'll admit, at first I thought OMG, it's so HUGE ! Now that I've acclimated to it (Maggie), from my iBook 14" G4, it's absolutely wonderful ! Get one, you'll love it, I know I do 8).

Yes, the screen is huge. Almost too big.
BenRoethig ~ It's not possible for the screen to be "too" big, in my opinion of course !
