Its a great phone and I will still get one but im not happy with some of its shortcomings.

The lack of delivery reports on sms messages, the inability to cut and paste text, no video recording. If Apple are planning to make all these happen in time I think thats a silly strategy as the phone is out now so you want those things now. Bug fixes is one thing but i have to be cynical when people say all these things willl be solved inh future updates.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be getting a bottle of hand lotion made out of hydrogenated lemur fat.

I also won't be getting one of those planes that can land in water.

This is the thread were we tell each other what we're not going to get, right?

That is a wise move as preexisting monkey ownership is often allowed under grandfathering laws whereas monkeys aquired after an anti-private ownership of monkey law may have gone into effect in your state are subject to removal. If you have two monkeys, one grandfathered in and one not, the sibling rivalry could be off the charts.

I honestly don't know. As far as I remember Class A EDGE is the same as regular EDGE, or perhaps a very marginal hit because it's working a little harder.

I'm pretty sure Class A EDGE is purely on the handset side so my best guess would be that Class A EDGE chipsets are either notably more expensive, notably bigger, or simply harder to produce in the quantities Apple wants.
