I’ve had two fiends get an iPhone for teh first time today, they both had WPA2 passcodes to put in and both complained about the length. They only made the comment the fact so I don’t know if it’s even possible to paste in that field.
edit: I just realized that while I don’t have the 3GS, i do have v3.0. yes, you can do that I just tested.

Can you email or add a note from my PC with the passcode that you can then copy/paste into the WIFI passcode field?
