Steve Jobs sleeps with a Windows98 Celeron PC by his side with a photo of Bill Gates as the background and bouncing (the dodgy bounce-of-the-corners) screensaver.
Connected kitchens...so like an iTv dvice for the kitchen? I can see it now, a microwave with wi-fi. You can tell it to cook whenever you want from your computer. The catch is you have to put the food in.
Why are they wasting time with all these stupid gadgets and RADIO WAVES which are
SO LAST CENTURY
Where are the flying cars and humanoid, semi-intelligent Robot Slaves ?????
Pfft. 'Till then I'll take a sexy new Mac anytime over a "smart microwave that downloads recipes off the internet and sh1t".
Too long till the keynote. Today is a holiday (in Japan) but I have to work a "half day" (by Japanese standards that means 9:00 to 5:00). Office heater broke on Friday night... Arrrghgghhgghghhhghggh! Keynote isn't tonight as I was thinking; it's tomorrow night! Time seems to have frozen, along with my office. Arrgggghgghgrhgshghgahghghgdhgsadghhsdhhgadsgabdba dbadbad!
That is a fake phone a couple of posts above. No mic and the "earphone" is off center, so I wouldn't hear anything Steve is saying when he calls me to congratulate me on my purchase.
1 hour 13 days 56 seconds

coffee...
1 day 13 hours and 55 minutes, plus or minus (fls vvery minus riht now)
Wow, and I thought *I* was losing it...
Your time zone [Japan] is close to Australia.
Easier to count as 34 hours to go.
So now is Tokyo\tMon 4:00 PM. You're still working I take it.
24 hours is Tokyo Tues 4:00 PM.
Yes you will have to work on Tuesday as well, I take it.
10 hours from Tokyo Tues 4:00PM means
you will have to follow keynote at
Tokyo Wed 2:00AM in the wee hours of the Japanese morning.
I have to wake up Wed 4:00AM Sydney/Melbourne and then
follow dribbles of the news for at least 3-4 hours. Frack me.
Have you noticed how it takes longer the closer we get?
The first 6 months, I hardly thought about it at all. It went by like a flash!
The next 4 months had me thinking about it occasionally, and there was some drag.
The past 2 months, I've been talking and writing about it a couple times a week, and the time went by slowly.
The last week has been difficult, as we have been talking about it almost daily. Sometimes I think about it when lying in bed. It's been like molasses.
Right now, a bit over a day away, I can't stop thinking about it unless I'm involved with something intense. I check the time every few hours, and they are really dragging.
Tomorrow will be impossible, as all I want is for the day to pass, but it won't. It will stretch 'till next year.
Tuesday morning I will get up late, as the presentation is 3 hours later here in NYC then it is in California, where it is taking place.
That way I won't have to wait too long before it goes on. But that 2 hours before will simply never end.

36 Hours to go! ...
Bring it on APPLE!!!
iPod Phone
30th Anniversary Mac!
I didn't see that. I don't go to the forums that much.

Ah you found the countdown thread?
The only thing you can be sure of here is the countdown timing.
I am 100% sure that this is not fake:
1 day, 10 hours, 19 minutes to GO.
AAPL = $85.05 as on Google Finance
Ah, so it was Bill. I was just wondering, because I like a simple quote:
Know your Friends well, Know your Enemies Better
Microsoft is my Enemy
Sebastian
Yes, also:
Keep your Friends Close, Keep your Enemies Closer.
It's real.

It's not an Apple product, though.
Heh. Knew there was something wrong with that.
Ummm... Lawsuit because of the "scrollwheel"??

This international time is too confusing. It should all be set to New York time and be done with it!
