One of the main reasons I'm so hyped is that I just so happen to have a few K lurking in the bank account ready to buy a new Mac when my leased G4 goes back on Jan 20th... a new product revamp would be sooopah dooopah... I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks either... this IS JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS WHEN I WAS A KID!!! [actually I hope it isn't... I never seemed to get what I wanted!] ]
Wow. I went away to eat dinner and this thread really took off.
Any way, the excitement I felt this morning when I read the new slogan still hasn't worn off. For the past week, I'd read the new slogan in the morning, be really excited, but it would die down by the afternoon.
Apple, all I have to say is that you'd better not let us down!
It is a remote control over L/WAN for iTunes but I can´t figure out if its also serves as an live MP3 server. If anyone have downloaded it please try if you can use my iTunes.
IP: 80.62.38.37
Login: AI
Pass: Kormac
(and no it doesn´t work outside iHam on iRye so don´t even try screw with my HD over ftp okay?)
You can´t use my MP3s (too low bandwith and we don´t want to get sued ) but you should be able to get the file "on the war" which is a 48 kbps document read by one of the voices in MacOS.
please please please try it. And if anyone have the iServer running please give (or mail) me your IP, login and pass so I can try it th other way.
If it doesn´t function as a server for your computer fell free to play whatever you want from it. I will be listening to iTunes from now until I fall asleep (a couple of hours) and I would be pleased to know it works by hearing Speed metal at full volume just before I fall asleep (and no I don´t have speed metal on my HD. Nothing you can find at least )
The sad thing is that this is the first time that a lot of people will see the Newton. People always want to know why I hate grafitti on the Palm. What you see is why.
Anyone think Apple will put up one more slogan for the morning of the keynote, to stay up untill stevenote is finished???

Considering that Apple must change the number in the countdown, a final slogan is almost guaranteed. Of course, it may say nothing more than "Macworld is Here." However, I do not know the likelihood that the slogan will be another teaser.

It's not about conceding!
It's about arguing!
Doesn't really mean all that much, I just like to argue. Plus I'm right!

Please wait 15 minutes to try it. I have to download the newest software or it won´t work.
I just like to slip that "I concede" thing in there whenever I can in a discussion... to salt the wound...
It gives the impression that I am right...
which I am...
lol...
just kidding...

Ciao,

Apple Hypes MWSF- quite possibly the biggest waste of bandwidth yet the most fun topic since Apple met Rumors....

BTW?
Anyone think Apple will put up one more slogan for the morning of the keynote, to stay up untill stevenote is finished???
Continuing with the superstition theme, we should get at least 1.33 Ghz G4's. Can we get that total to 1.6?
BTW?

I'd say yes to both. 1.6 GHZ is not too far fetched and tomorrow AM I expect something else, maybe a picture of a gift wrapped up with a bow....
