Is our country that much better growing super companies or do other countries actually tax corporations, bringing money back to its citizens and raising the quality of life far beyond the citizens of the USA?
Anthropologically speaking there is plenty of evidence that shows the resolution to quality of living is to lessen the divide between the rich and poor. You're basically saying this by saying the poor don't have enough but that's the wrong solution for your stated problem. You can just make the rich less rich to correct the problem, too.
