I suppose it comes down to how a person defines "historical".  Their pay sytem will change things?    Perhaps...   I'll give it that I suppose - but massively underwhelming.  And the glitchy and crappy live stream....  happens all the time.

Adding that -al changes the meaning dramatically.

Well thank you - I wasn't aware that you could look up meanings on the internet and post them in response to other people's perspectives in order to patronize them.  You sir are a douche.

Coming from someone that first used the word historic and then historical without considering their potential meanings those are some pretty strong words. It's especially odd since my inclusion of historic actually supports your original statement. Perhaps instead of being offended you should instead embrace education.

Um... no. Not what is meant or implied in modern usage, despite the etymology.

Hence why I put the laughing face.

Wasn't it though?  I thought so too and why I posted it.   It's precisely what you did.  I am entitled to my opinions - you don't have to agree - and that's totally alright.  But keep it on topic.  You have zero reason to come on here and "educate" me, other than to be pious. - but looking at your 18 and 1/2 thousand posts,  it seems to me you have NO life at all, and like to antagonize people in a passive aggressive way.  Who are you to sit on your high throne and educate people offering their opinion even if it's not popular.  You commenting added nothing to the conversation at all.  You were completely antagonistic.  Be nice, you'd get nicer responses, but it seems you like to be the board troll.  Perhaps I'm wrong. And with that, I offer you a sincere apology if I offended you.  I just happen to think the use of historic when it comes to technology should be significant.   Offering a 4.7" phone with it's features (save the finger print reader) was something that Google did 2 years ago with almost precisely the same specs and features.

Now you're changing your parameters to say it has to be a 4" iPhone 6. You can get the 4" iPhone 5S or 5C and as already shown the 4.7" iPhone 6 has less volume and weight most other iPhones previously released, including the 3.5" models.
I already have a 5S. Apple no longer cares about the 4" screen (which is pretty confusing given their past statements). The 5S might be around a while longer, but only for financial reasons.

    1) Did you make the same complaint when the iPhone 5 didn't come in a 3.5" version?

    2) What statements do you refer?

    3) I agree the 5S is around for financi reasons, but so is every other product they sell.

Tim Cook said that 4" was the right size for the iPhone 5, but that leaves him to have a different right size for the iPhone 6. I definitely prefer TC's word selection over SJ's.

    1) Your smarmy comments are very passive-aggressive.

    2) I'm very direct, hence my comment to your limited view of the term Apple choose to use. I even took the time to back up my comments with actual definitions from the OAD3 because I care about supporting my opinions instead of just wantingto vent at stranger on the Internet.

    3) I can't help that you got upset instead of engaging in the conservation but I won't coddle a fragile ego. And, I have no problem with you continuing to making ad hominems attacks against me. Feel free.

    4) I ever made a grossly limited statement about language I implore you to post whatever is needed to set me on the path to education

I posted the numbers in this or another thread. If I remember correctly, the iPhone 5, 5S, and 6 are all lighter than all the 3.5" iPhones that came before, and the box volume for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is less than all the 3.5" iPhones. Then add in the fact it no has a nice curve not found on the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, and 5S, and what appear to be slightly thinner side-bezels and I don't think you are going to get a lesser experience from having a larger display. Now if you go back to a similarly large display on an Android-based device from a couple years ago it seems more cumbersome.

This is how delusional Android users actually are. This is how they actually behave. <img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

I’ll only partially disagree with you on ABC’s choice of words, however.

ABC should make sure that their commentators didn't graduate from Comic book.edu

I do still prefer 3.5" for my hand. I'm ok with the 4" because it's 16:9.
