Talk about beating a dead horse…

Apple lost a huge opportunity. Harman has class, design chops, and is already in the dashboard of every high end auto manufacturer. At this point, we have to reluctantly accept the fact that this plays into the narrative that the company lacks a clear strategy/vision. At least, none that is evident.

And it's painful to watch the stock getting pounded. Yes, I know that tech is taking a hit, but Apple is getting massacred.

I thoroughly disagree. They get ruined by people fucking reacting -- often overreacting -- to @sog35.

Pretty sure you can still used wired headphones even without the headphone jack. So missing your point? It's called lightning connected (not wireless) headphones 

Yes, but that requires you buy a new pair of headphones or an adapter to use the old, and wired use compromises the ability to charge the device at the same time. There is also the the potential problem that the perception of such issues could have a negative impact on sales. (After all, there are seemingly reasonable-sounding people, even Apple fans, bringing it up). Are those not issues? 

(For the record, I've owned a pair of wireless Headphones for a year now, and it works fine for me.)

Such supply chain rumors amount to a hill of beans: Apple needs to provide sales numbers for the Watch. Their silence on this has backfired, feeding a narrative that it has been a less-than-successful product (when it probably has not been).
