As a mac loyalist, I thought I'd try the surface pro for work. First off, Outlook via Exchange doesn't easily set up on the Surface, the metro app connected to my exchange server but not outlook, its a known issue? What, Outlook can't connect to…

I have the new MB Pro and have used the MB Air, as well as the previous gen macbook. I find the 15" screen ideal for daily use, and the weight doesn't bother me at all. I do find that I have never turned on the second graphics card and instead kee…

It's great to see some redesign to the shape of the machine, but we haven't seen much innovation in the MBPro since they came out. I remember with the Powerbooks how apple took the lead in Bluetooth, Airport, backlit keyboards, etc. It seems that …

Hi there I downloaded bootcamp and after a few failed attempts at loaded the xp dvd, it worked. Spent time updating windows, etc, and boy, it works better than my pc notebooks. One machine is all I need now.

I've been using FetchArt and find it works well.

I have a PB 15" and have played with an X41T and Z60M. I really thought the Z60M was going to be a nice machine, but I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw how big/bulky/thick it was. I put it next to my PB and was shocked. I use PC's a…

As the owner of a 15.2" PB 1.25 and dual 2.0 PM, I was pissed off. I spent an hour to find out about a new display. I have a 23" cinema and don't need 30". I wanted an apple version of windows media center. Summarized as quite disappointed

I have plenty of more pics which I can email to someone who would like to post. I've been busy playing with the G5 so I've stayed away from some of the madness. I have no idea how I got these on Tuesday and no one else seems to have them.

The keyboard is the same as the emac, no new mouse, though the mouse has two plastic "grips" on the left and right, which are not on the mouse that came with my G4, they don't have any function though. The keyboard has the usb ports on the rear ins…

In my opinion, they really engineered the inside. I've never seen a PC manufacturer go through this much trouble to make access and expandability this easy.

No problem, I don't know how we got it so fast. I love the neatness of the insides. There is plenty of expansion room, and it looks like space on the mb for a second processor.

I can go live with my isight and show you all the G5

I emailed the picture to one of you guys. I ordered these in June for Yale University, I work at the Divinity School as Finance Director. I was shocked when tracking numbers came through Monday morning, and fed ex brought them yesterday. We order…

I had my in house publications person snap a photo of the inside, it's not the best, but it'll have to do for now. I can email it to someone who is willing to post for me

I just opened the G5, took the pplastic out, and the fans really revved up, though it didn't sleep, as I'm still typing away.

Currently on the G5, altivec came in at 3.4 3975. I just got a 1.5 8628 on my dual 1.25G4. I ran again and got 3.3 4055 on the g5. Its rather quiet, with my G4 making much more noise, not that much more, but you can hear the G4 under my desk, the…

I'll get pics today. The PowerMac G5 disc has OS Version 10.2.7 (g5) AHT Version 2.1 DVD Version 1.0. The keyboard is different in the location of the usb ports, and if you look at the current keyboard, there are raised plastic around the grouping…

I didn't run to much on it. I currently have a dual 1.25 with 23" cinema display, so tomorrow, I'll do some fooling around. Any recomendations on what I should look for in comparing, any easy ways to compare?

I was really impressed with the guts. Apple gives you an extra serial ata cable and serial ata power cable already plugged in to the board, you supply the hd. The fans for the cpu are plug and play, and just pull out to access the ram,. It's real…
