Are they out of their minds? That's ridiculous. However, I was able to do the last update with little to no issues. I have a cellular S3.

Leave the ability to buy to own and this will be ok.

Thing is he’s kinda right. TV+ definitely has quality content but has a tiny amount of content. The other big issue with their TV ventures is the fact that everyone (including Apple it seems) thinks that TV+ is the only thing they’re trying to sell…

A more important question is if the Apple TV Channel will simply become Paramount+, or if they will pull an HBO (whose Apple TV Channel I still use) and exit the TV App service to focus on its own app. If it doesn’t stay, it’ll be another huge blow …

They’re advertising their TV services like crap. No one really knows or cares about them because Apple doesn’t put it out there why people should use their model over cable. They need to market to cord cutters and those who are over using cable, and…

If they pull an HBO and pull away from Apple TV Channels instead of updating CBSAA (and I guess Showtime?) to Paramount+, it'll be a nail in the coffin for TV Channels as an Apple service. Shame too since I like using them.

Ugh. Reading this made me feel sick.

If Facebook’s “nutrition label” was equated to actual food, the food would kill you in an instant. Just look at the list of items it has compared to other apps.

Not giving the rest of Apple TV Channels their own tab as well was a mistake. If Apple wants to boost subscriptions for those channels, they need to make them more visible as well along with Apple TV+ (given it is a channel like the rest of them).

I like the premise but this looks like something out of the Moonbugs Apple TV channel.

To be clear, this is not an "Apple TV Channel" like Apple TV+ and CBS All Access and isn't part of that channel lineup. It does not support PiP on Apple TV hardware (only on iPhone and iPad), and hitting the menu button will take you out of the feed…

Needs to be a fully integrated Apple TV Channel. No PiP is wack.

Makes me wish Disney+ and Peacock were channels too. I get other services like Hulu Amazon and Netflix being their own thing since they too are an amalgamation of other networks’ content, but services that are just of a single network really would w…

Guess we can expect this to not be an Apple TV Channel much like how HBO dropped its support once Max came out. Shame because I really enjoy using CBSAA as a TV Channel.

Apple has the right to enforce their policies. Tbh they should double down with the likes of Netflix to set that precedent. What IS wrong about the whole thing is that iOS doesn't give the option to load apps from anywhere other than the App Store…

Pretty shitty move. I was actually expecting they were going to upgrade the channel to Max over Disney and Peacock (which at this point I don’t expect them to do a TV channel either). Give users the option to keep things within the TV App or not. L…

Is Venmo one of these apps? I cannot get it to open at all.
