I had a thought! As the front facing camera is not the greatest, does it make sense to create a display panel which can slide under the rear facing camera assembly offering the user a view of the rear facing selfie setup or offer a way to use an iP…

cpsro said: fyi: in my experience, even between the fastest Macs connected via 10GbE, a single "scp" file transfer tops out at about 260 MB/s or 2.1 Gbps. To make more use of 10GbE bandwidth, multiple simultaneous streams must be run, and eve…

While this is important for the rent and purchase of content. The customers own and purchased content ideally should be stored in a closer space i.e. ones home! That way the multiple devices within it can access the content locally than having to …

How about body temp and ambient temp so heat stroke or fever are detected.

Just like drugs which can help you too much of a good thing can also kill you! The newer MacBook Pro's all have their T-CON boards held between the heat pipes and cooling fins. So you'll likely kill it as we've already seen grey black bars on the t…

While the USB 2 port was anemic at 480 Mb/s you forgot about the 800 Mb/s FireWire port which was more often used. True, the Thunderbolt port was only 10 Gb/s given the generation it was way ahead of its time!

The problem you are facing is the lack of solid information on the keyboard mess from the repair community. Your data point is not factual given what the independent repair community has seen. Was it doom and gloom, No! The failure was focused on gi…

I give Apple a high five for fixing the keyboard, power & thermals (still needs a bit more work on this). The larger display is nice and the ability to set the FPS is nice for film/video work. We are still stuck with a system which fails to be…

Let's correct a bit of the Keyboard problem. The 2016 & 2017 had the most issues. The 2018 & 2919 are better for sure! They are still failing just the same. A lot of it has to do with different keys wearing out. Depending on what your game …

The only drawback with the display is the brightness its hard to see outside. The iPad Pro's with 120 GHz and HDR are just perfect! I'm sure microLED's will improve the brightness, I just hope we don't loose the Hz or HDR.

One slight correction Xerox PARC group only opened the eye's of Steve on what was possible! Xerox corporate just didn't get what it had, as its focus was on copiers and printers. Not the composition aspect and even less interest in personal comput…

This reminds me of the Three Bears story! The Mac mini is too cold, the new MacPro is too hot! The 2013 is the not quite good enough! Apple swung hard to the Animators & videographers with this design. Which is good! But us photographers got s…

I think the sign post is clear! The future 15" models will have two USB-C ports and still be produced. The coming 16" models (hopefully really 16.5") will carry the four USB-C ports forward. Now the big question will we see other onboard ports as we…
