At this it is a hardware patent

Too much speculation... So I would speculate too. Apple updated iTunes Connect for developers a few days ago, and certain pages related to IAP have bugs. It is a combination of inconsistent data and bugs. Simple as that.

First, those who scream "patent troll" should be silenced. Now we know it is a valid patent (Apple agreed to that, as well as Google and MS). So not all patents are nonsense. The real question is the language of the licensing agreement.

If a person is clear enough to use the app, he is not drunk.

And I would like Apple to have a small backup battery (20 minutes?) in all of their products, including desktop and monitors. The occasional power outage, however infrequent, can ruin the day.

Nobody is forced to use IAP! Amazon still can use the website to charge for Kindle books, and they don't need to pay Apple anything! If you don't like Apple's 30% cut, then don't use it. The only thing Apple doesn't like is to put a link in t…

Third party apps do not have to use IAP. They can simply use the app as only a reader (for example, Kindle), and use their own website to charge for the content. The whole point is, you can do the marketing completely on your own, and Apple gets …

The API prompts the user for confirmation if the user wants to make an in-app purchase, so there is no way an app would "steal" without user confirmation.

Light is light, whether it is the source or reflected. The problem is simply that iPad is too bright. iPhone is much better for reading at night if you reduce the brightness to minimum (assuming the book app is using a bright white color for back…

Actually, the old MagSafe connect is very problematic. The cord gets lose from the connector, and often it burns the plastic at that spot. I had two adapters with this problem (a Macbook Pro and a Macbook). No, I am not saying Apple is definitely…

A new third party app, Photos Ultra, does the same in OS3.
