Wish these were reviewed on its own merits rather than the senseless comparison to AVP. Seriously… one comment about it being like comparing a unicycle to McLaren was about right. But more to the point when Toyota comes out with an updated Camry, d…

What you need to order Apple Vision Pro from Apple Store online? A healthy bank account and quite a bit of optimism.

I’m not quite sure what these tests accomplish- since the alerts are passive it’s not like people are going to phone in and say “ hey, I didn’t get the alert”. And seriously, if there is an emergency where you need to alert everyone ion the country …

Gah! Photoshopped Eddy Cue is super creepy IMO. Plus, c’mon Apple you made this of Eddy like a decade ago - update his portrait to his current trollish visage I imagine he’s become.

Agreed on how nonsensical this all is. I imagine it is to build more hype and interest about the “amazing experiences” yet to come with AV but it rings so hollow. As another commenter rightly points out, the device is mounted to your head already an…

“Apple doesn't "scan" user photos stored on device or in iCloud in any way.” well, this is a patently false statement. If Apple weren’t scanning photos in any way how could the For You memories feature in the photos app exist. All our photos are be…

Apple will continue to charge outrageous amounts for its top end gear as long as there are people willing to hand over their cash. Count me out, I don’t need the status symbol to be happy.

Would this dock work (possibly with reduced performance) on a TB3 Mac?

And it isn’t even on the market until NEXT year. Maybe that’s why they bumped the price- they expect more inflation and want to preserve their profit forecasts from the $3000 rumor. As others have said, it will take several years before this is poss…

And I thought $3000 would have been a galling amount for this. But Apple managed to supersize even that. The vignettes of interaction with family is just creepy. In a work / lab environment this would be more palatable. So, for business this can be …

I would think that Apple is going to introduce this thing with Craig Federighi appearing with some oversized headset that he then peals off to reveal the slim profile of Apple’s offering. I’ll be so sad if this isn’t the case.

I went in with mild expectations but it was soon dashed. Feels a bit too much like they are riding the Ted Lasso formula — just a new cast of characters whose story arcs seem quite obvious to me. But that’s just me - if others are enjoying it, carr…

Yeah, we don’t need this. At least I certainly don’t want to be tracked throughout my home just for the possibility that my home automation might be a wee bit helpful but in all likelihood it would just be annoying or wrong.

Continuity Camera is no reason to give Apple a pass on the built in webcam. On their top-of-the-line laptop, a solid camera offering should be the expectation- and that expectation wasn’t met.
