There is a third party SDK vendor that offers this screen recording feature. While working for a fintech company there were efforts from people on my team to integrate it into our very widely used app. I about lost my shit and engaged our security department to shut down that effort.

I wonder how all the folks who purchased the latest iPhone with the expectation that they’d be getting to enjoy an enhanced Siri experience are feeling. It is clear the iPhone 17 will be on the market well before any semblance of “AI Siri” ships. I would be feeling pretty cheated had I purchased last fall for that explicit purpose. Ah, well, I suppose if it were really important folks would wait until they could try it out before buying.

The previous posts relating this potential move to the Vision Pro are apt.  One can only conclude that Apple feels its Vision Pro strategy is working. As I don’t have all the data that Apple has, maybe it’s true. But as an outside observer, it sure doesn’t seem like it.

I have heard these numbers for a while now and have a real hard time believing them. If meta is reporting these kind of losses (or Reality Labs) I sooner suspect creative accounting rather than actual losses.  What would be burning through so much cash on an ongoing basis? Servers and engineers can only account for a fraction of that kind of number.  Seriously, I just don’t believe it.

Where is Sarafi search? I want to be sure I’ve turned off all this nonsense!
