Yep, it hit me. What a pain in the a$$ it was to "break into" the reset when you have many devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc.) on your Apple ID. Took about 15 minutes to run around, collect everything and get a password reset in place. It will t…

Indeed, number one priority when shopping for a new car is Apple CarPlay on board, without any subscription to "premium" features. No subscriptions for a car. Period. There are plenty of other car manufacturer choices. GM will suffer by this dec…

What a shame. When Filmic Pro went to Bending Spoons, the legacy community of Pro users revolted...see the app ratings...as their bought once app went to subscriptions (weekly, really?). A year later, we read/hear this. Here's hoping Barham gathe…

I have a prediction...want to see your numbers dwindle faster, start ripping apart family's with kids in college, visiting a friend for the week, away at summer camp, etc. See how that spurs your subscriber base.

Dude, if you don't like the "product" Apple invented, invested, built, and provided, go do it yourself! Plain and simple. Crying and complaining you don't like it is worthless. Do something worth the attention of the world, and decide then how to…

Many thanks to Macpaw for offering this in the midst of the terrible and unacceptable circumstances in which they find themselves. I ran this and found one (1) coding recipes app, a great app from a great Russian developer, with code pointing to an …

Cropr…have them raise the price of their app! It’s not Apple that keeps them from making money, it’s the market of free choices. Make a better app and move into the hypothetical 10% you imply develop AND make money.

…sorry, I can’t stop laughing so hard! Unbelievable, and even more so that AppleInsider played into this and wrote a freaking story about it!

I too wondered about the shape vs. appeal, but the square/rectangle simply give more pixel real estate for equivalent maximal dimension comparison (diameter vs. long side). Happy I chose Apple.

Two products from two different companies. I choose the company/product I prefer. If that is Apple, they must naturally be unfair. If that is Tile, does the same argument hold. It must.

At least in the AI article, I didn't read anywhere that Apple won't be charging you for parts (and tools). I expect the program will be something like this... You need a new screen for an iPhone 12. The cost is $XX. The tools we suggest you use …

Now THAT is a great developer, recognizing two types of customers…those who enjoy buying something once and using it at will, and those that lease their software okay with the knowledge of shut-off/out when payment stops. Great way to satisfy the br…

So, everyone, look for apps that offer an alternative in-app payment system and watch to see that it is discounted by 30% from what Apple's terms would have dictated through the developer lumping it on top. See how many actually give you a discount…

Hey Pavel, simple solution. Stop developing for iOS. Period. Problem solved. Go whine about your next perceived injustice, and continue to revel in your Android business successes.

eimoaotl said: There is a lot of vitriol on here against Epic. I personally think that iOS has become like Windows and Mac, where it is a general operating system and that Apple should no longer be allowed to determine what I can and cannot …

No one forced you to buy an iPhone nor iPad since 2007. No one also forced you to purchase any smartphone application on the App Store if you did buy an iPhone or iPad. Get off your high horse and innovate something out of the EU that the rest of t…

It’s not just corporate welfare. Having chipset manufacturing technology in the USA is vital for defense initiatives as the world moves more and more to electronic defense, security, and yes, attack. Dependence on foreign foundries is currently a bi…

"This monopolistic behavior reduces quality and innovation, leading to higher prices and fewer choices for consumers." - How do you associate reduced quality with Apple practices? - How do you ever accuse Apple of stifling innovation when it is vi…

Game over for Intel. Apple has always has a vision of the future beyond the cost of the R&D to enable it. It's products (with privacy in mind, solutions in mind, for the customer) generate that R&D revenue. This instead of watching the fo…
