Some users are randomly getting locked out of their Apple ID accounts
Yep, it hit me. What a pain in the a$$ it was to "break into" the reset when you have many devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc.) on your Apple ID. Took about 15 minutes to run around, collect everything and get a password reset in place. It will takes days before everything else that is linked to the Apple ID gets my attention for "updating your Apple ID" settings. Personally, I believe it was a forced security update by Apple to make us update our Apple ID passwords. (Yes, mine has been the same for quite some time.) It would be better, if my theory holds, that Apple provide a procedure for doing this all at once for all your devices! -

Bending Spoons lays off entire team behind Filmic Pro
What a shame. When Filmic Pro went to Bending Spoons, the legacy community of Pro users revolted...see the app ratings...as their bought once app went to subscriptions (weekly, really?). A year later, we read/hear this. Here's hoping Barham gathers the original, brilliant Filmic crew, starts a new company, and rebuilds the loyalty with a new set of IP behind a new videography tool, reminiscent of the original Filmic. I'm sure there are NDA and IP implications to making Filmic Pro, Filmic Pro again; however, I'm praying the originals can come back as a phoenix and go back to the non-lease-ware/non-rent-ware/non-subscription way of business! I'm waiting. -

Epic CEO will fight Apple to the bitter end over App Store control
Dude, if you don't like the "product" Apple invented, invested, built, and provided, go do it yourself! Plain and simple. Crying and complaining you don't like it is worthless. Do something worth the attention of the world, and decide then how to charge others to play in that ecosystem. Apple did it, were successful, and still are enough so that they remain on top. Period. Millions of people accept that, pay for that, and live happy, productive lives. If you don't like something, go do better yourself.
