    The article states:
    "... If the Mac Pro is as upgradable as we hope, there is a chance there will be a more affordable base model that users could upgrade themselves over time.
    Still, this seems quite unlikely to happen. Money spent on upgrades would go to others besides Apple, something they probably aren't too keen on. ..."
    To still benefit from customers upgrading their MacPros, Apple could consider designing swappable boards, ideally, to be also included in iMac Pros, such that Macs could possibly benefit from future architectural upgrades above and beyond what GPU makers and other add-on manufactures have to offer (and to support advances in those add-ons).

    Why the heck are DECT phones still in the stone age? Shouldn't they sync with Apple's ecosystem and integrate in all possible ways?
    I know, most people don't need landlines any longer, but it will be some time till these have disappeared, especially in business settings.

    Remember when Apple came out with Mac OS X, how quick Microsoft was to call its next OS: "XP"? 
    They were afraid to look old fashioned without an X in the Windows version name.

    I just wonder how they will react now when Apple renames OSX to macOS.
    pcOS? surfaceOS?win, not to mention the 10 variants (Home, Pro, Enterprise, ...), and the umpteen server versions.
    Luckily, they still have the parallel NT x.x designations to fall back to, which have indicated all along that many major windows versions were only point updates.

    At least they are in sync with the OSX version numbering.
    Will Apple make them skip another version number?

    The question remains: will it be troublesome for Microsoft to select a meaningful copycat Windows name?

    Split Screen, Split View, whatever. There is enough prior art in the 1970's, 80's, e.g., the IBM 3290, and even more prominently, Digital's VT100 ASCII terminal in 1983. These used escape sequences to switch split screen modes.
    Many IDEs have had Split View capability, for decades.
    So, on what planet are these people at this Indian company Vyooh living?
