iOS 18 to debut Apple Passwords app
I just discovered that the Passwords built into Settings supports Verification Codes. Not sure how I missed that. I've been slowly migrating all of my codes from the Google Authenticator app over to Passwords. The fact that these codes work seamlessly across macOS and iOS gives me exactly what I need. No more reaching for my phone every time I need to log into a site. -

That's technically not valid.
The cloud refers to infrastructure on the internet that is partially or wholly distributed globally. Any service that offers automatic replication across multiple data centers is a "cloud" service. This is very common, and forms the backbone of redundancy and resiliency.
You can be assured that Adobe's apps are not on "some computer". They are replicated broadly.
Regarding Little Snitch, fair point, but doesn't really have anything to do with his article, or offer any protection against a license that a user has voluntarily agreed to. -

Nine-core M4 iPad Pro benchmarks leak, still smokes M2

I await when the day when Apple returns to the "Available Today" for the entire Consumer and Pro lineups. Won't happen, since marketing drives the ship nowadays, and spreading these releases throughout the year has its advantages, but would be nice.
