    I currently have 3 iPads. I use them mostly for web access and my #1 app is forScore.  As a musician and singer, it's and indispensable tool.  I still use Mac for almost all serious work, mostly because I have 3 large monitors with lots of screen real estate.

    I'm not complaining- really- i have a fully loaded M4 Max MBP, but if Apple charged fair prices for RAM and SSD storage, they would likely triple their market share. People still see Macs as "overpriced luxury items," which is clearly unfair.

    As I've pointed out on some YouTube channels, why doesn't Apple simply add touchscreen capabilities to MacOS and then let anybody (with adequate hardware) run MacOS as an option on their iPad.  It would seem much simpler to do that than to do all of the coding gymnastics in the current iPadOS.

    The problem with iPad Pros has never been the hardware.  It's the software.  Release MacOS for it and let people decide if they want to run MacOS or iPadOS on it.  Problem is, the iPads don't have a lot of RAM.

    Dood--MONEY! Money has always been Apple's motivation with his incremental upgrades. Imagine what an M4 Ultra's processing power could be, and then consider why any Ultra buyers would NEED to upgrade ever again? Or how many people would settle for an M4 Max Studio instead of going the laptop routes.

    You're absolutely right!  By waiting until now to release the M4 Max Studio, they made an extra $1500 from me when I bought the M4 Max MBP back in December.  I was tired of waiting since they hadn't updated the Studio line in 2 years (and I was running a 2017 iMac Pro which now is a dinosaur.)
