    I was hoping for an iMac, but not expecting it. Looks like I'll have to wait until spring, no big deal. I hope that with the wait we at least get a couple cool color options, like a deep purple or maroon like color. The M Pro and Max chips look pretty incredible, can't wait to see them in an iMac! 

    BTW, I was watching the presentation with my AirPod pros and the spacial audio effect they were using was very cool!

    I just want an M1 iMac without a white border on the screen, don't care what size it is. Maybe I'm just too particular, but I'm surprised the white border didn't bother more people. It's jarring when the computer is off, or when watching a show (what TVs have white borders?), or when in dark mode, and even when the screen is on you still have that thin black border. Maybe this is just a preference thing, or maybe my feelings actually reflect objective aesthetic truths, and people just don't notice these irregularities enough for it to matter, just like they don't notice the drops of morning dew on a dandelion, or the hue of the sunset, or that the gd light turned green one minute ago.

  • Apple Watch Series 7 has support for 60.5GHz short-range data transfer

    Probably just for faster OS updates, but perhaps it would allow the watch to be a sensor input for an AR/VR headset? Particularly if this will involve the wearer being an avatar and interacting with other avatars in a virtual environment.

    In screen Touch ID will be so much better than Face ID. I like multitasking. I hate having to make sure I’m looking at the phone just right, and with my eyes open for it to unlock (I just went into my settings to turn that off, can’t believe I’ve kept it on for years, and I’m sure I’m not the only one).

    The ability to do double authentication (face and finger) may be helpful for some people. 

    Face ID may not work well if Apple is trying to put everything behind the screen.

    Not buying into the rainbow bright 24 iMacs  too ugly with too little power. 

    Hopefully Apple finds a way of making the larger series look more like a sleek pro machine. 

    The only thing causing a delay of purchase is the availability of this machine. 
    If it wasn’t for those freakin white borders I would’ve gotten the 24” already.
