The solution is simple. Congress should pass a law making it a requirement for American companies to publish when a foreign country tries to require a back door, and illegal for them to provide security back doors to foreign nations.Do I think that will happen? Not a chance, but it is a solution.

I'm reasonably certain this is one of the goals of the EU. So that they can more easily hack into it.
