Apple offering 10% bonus for adding credit to Apple ID
apple ][ said:tjwolf said:Advanced apologies for this ignorant question: what, besides songs and apps/games, can you buy with this credit? Can I use it on my Apple TV to rent or buy a movie? Can I use it wherever I'd use ApplePay? Been using an iPhone since 2010 but never used any iTunes cards, etc.
You can use it for app/games like you mentioned, but it can also be used on the Mac App Store for any software that's there. It can be used for songs, movies etc, anything that's on the iTunes Store basically I believe.
It can also be used for subscriptions, if you sign up through iTunes, so if somebody wants Netflix for example, then they'd be getting it at a discount. I recently signed up for HBO and I paid using my iTunes credits which I had gotten at a discount.
Yes, you can use it to rent or buy movies or tv episodes/ seasons via Apple TV, and subscriptions (including Apple Music) as already mentioned, funds go to your Apple ID or iTunes account as “store credit”, and can be used for anything you can get through iTunes (Apple ID) and the iOS and Mac App Stores. ...it is not good for Apple store purchases (hardware).tjwolf said:Advanced apologies for this ignorant question: what, besides songs and apps/games, can you buy with this credit? To note, Netflix no longer allows you to pay for subscription through iTunes, along with some others, Spotify may be one of them. I used to do this because I’d get iTunes gift cards at 15 or 20% off.
10% isn’t bad, but 15 or 20% is better, however, usually 20% off is only for certain amounts, like $100 or maybe $50. (PayPal does 20% from time to time.) -
Apple Music falls from first to fifth in brand intimacy rankings
I’ll tell you I’ve recently started with Apple Music after a couple years quitting, and it’s not any better, just the same.
It’s really, extremely irritating to be playing a playlist/album in my car, go into store, come back, hook iPhone back up and it HAS LOST WHERE IT LEFT OFF!?!? It will either play the first song in my library (alphabetically), or an often played album. (Sometimes this happens when leaving house and WiFi, when streaming over cell is turned off, it just stops and gives me a message about no WiFi, ridiculous, figure this out Apple, make this user experience smooth, not interrupted, O.M.G. W.T.F?). No other music streaming app I’ve used does this. This is sooo 2007...how is it apple has still not fixed this since 2015? This is one reason I quit Apple Music.
so, if we’re talking “intimacy” ratings, meaning emotional connection, yeah, Apple needs to fix some major issues like this. -
Review: Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX receiver proves wireless CarPlay is the way to go
AppleInsider said:Going wireless does drain battery compared to being wired, but by coupling it with a Qi car charger you get the best of both worlds.
