Netflix versus Apple TV+: how Apple is stealing mindshare in a too crowded streaming marke...
AppleInsider said:
For most Apple TV+ subscribers, their first experience will be getting a free trial to the service just for having an Apple ID. And yes, Apple reminds you of this free trial whenever it gets the chance. That’s definitely how they got me. I don’t have a lot of time to watch shows. Elon Musk says Apple's 30% commission rate is 'definitely not ok'

I despise narrow minded haters. 84% of apps on the AppStore are free and Apple makes negative dollars on them. 16% are paid apps where Apple makes a very reasonable and industry standard rate of 15% to 30%.
I wonder what would be the price per kWh at Tesla charging stations if 84% of their customers didn’t have to pay.
Does apple not take a cut of in-app ad revenue? (I don’t know). -

My last Adaptec SCSI cable cost $168 a long time ago. In today’s dollars it would be almost twice that. And we didn’t complain because we knew that’s what they would cost.
people today complain about everything.
