  • If you were underwhelmed by WWDC 2025, you're not alone

The public and the critics are always underwhelmed by hard work ongoing saving, studying, or iteration it is all so boring. Living the life of Riley however is always more exciting. I must’ve missed something is OpenAI, Microsoft, Google or Meta being paid by Apple? To squat in their ecosystem with their current non profitable hallucinating AI solutions? Apple made the right call by not giving any of them a penny because there is no moat. Five multiple OS ecosystems and Apple Silicon is a far better disrupting hand moving forward in comparison to their competition….

  • Xcode 26 beta code hints at cheaper Apple Vision Pro model

Once again the Vision Pro is essentially a MacBook Pro (with three modest upgrades) or a M4 iPad Pro (with similar modest upgrades). Both are under or in the neighborhood of $2000-$2500. Look at the bill of materials. It just isn’t gonna be that cheap (the Vision Pro has state of the art sensors/screens, 13 cameras, LiDar and a new secondary R1 soon to be R2 SOC? Along with a possible C2 or C3 series Apple modem added in?). The bill of materials just doesn’t add up fo a cheap product.

I think it could be cheaper in the second generation somewhere between $2000 and $2500 but it’s unrealistic to expect something under $2000 even for a stripped down version. I don’t think it’s gonna be less than a base MacBook Pro or a M4 iPad Pro with modest upgrades not will that bill of necessary materials.

One last thing the usual haters (critics) will have a field day if Apple introduced a cheaper Vision Pro and it had less performance than what they’ve currently introduced to the public.

    Modern Aqua.

    i like it.

    Next step: Skeuomorphism!

I had the same thought.  I was waiting for someone to describe it as "lickable".  lol

    Someone already did.

Steve Jobs noted that "... it's liquid, one of the design goals was when you saw it you wanted to lick it".

Steve Jobs would approve based upon his quote about Aqua back in the day.

The developers come first they’re getting their hands on the beta now….. isn’t that what Tim Cook said at the end of the presentation?
