Headline makes it sound like hackers have found a macOS exploit involving the option key

laughable. replace apple with Facebook and his statement would be more accurate.

the reality is that companies are trying to anticipate apple's next move; they're reactionary, even 10 years after the first iPhone. no one has managed to overtake the iphone in terms of mindshare. age of apple is far from over.

can't wait for DED to take this apart.

2017 will prove to be a defining year for Apple. They will need to follow through with some big announcements in the new year, especially with the iPhone. A 4th year with an iPhone 6/6s/7 chassis simply won't do. 

Anyone who says they'll beat Apple in market share simply doesn't get it. Except for iPod, Apple has never had the biggest market share of anything. That's never been their main driver. Sorry but until these companies can get that in their heads, they'll never beat Apple at anything.
