  • August halts sales of flawed View doorbell, promises fixed version 'in the near future'

The problem is that the Home app doesn't offer seamless doorbell/lock integration, August said
Well HomeKit also doesn't support wireless cameras but Arlo introduced a wired hub that allows them to implement wireless cameras. Could this approach help August?

  • No, '250 scientists' didn't warn that AirPods are a cancer risk

Thanks for ignoring Newton’s law of physics. The strength of the radiation of emf absorbed is inversely proportional to the distance from the AirPods to the brain cells and around the axis between two ears. Also, Bluetooth shares the same range of radio frequency spectrum as Wi-Fi and microwave oven.

The MRI photo below indicates where the brain tumour developed into the size of a golf ball. Exactly between two ears.

First mistake: it's inversely proportional to the SQUARE of the distance, not the distance. So the center of the brain is TEN TIMES further from the wireless AirPods than the left and right sides of the brain, which means there is TEN TIMES TEN (which is 100) less radiation in the center of the brain from the AirPods than from the edges of the brain. So the LAST place you would expect to see a tumor is in the MIDDLE of the brain. That's the second mistake. There is 100 times as much radiation 1cm away form an AirPod than there is 10 cm away. So you're 100 times more likely to see tumors close to the ear, not far away from it. Thanks for ignoring Newton's laws of physics, twice. I'll ignore your third error because it pales in comparison to these errors.

Although I'm not a scientist I'm pretty sure cars, guns, and a variety of foods kill more people than EMR does. For cars: 3,287 deaths (+60,000 injuries) per DAY worldwide. For tobacco the number is about 19,000 killed per DAY worldwide. How many people per day are killed by electromagnetic radiation? 0.01? 0.1? 1?

  • New Apple retail head Deirdre O'Brien joins Instagram, shares pics from trip to Hong Kong ...

In the Far East there are a lot of people who love and hate certain numbers. Does anyone have the actual addresses of the Apple stores in the Orient to see if they selected the right "feng shui" for their addresses? The most popular numbers over there are 8, 99, 888, 168, 998. Eg, 168 sounds like the Cantonese words for "Sure Easy Fortune", 9 is "long time" and 99 is "eternal." The number 4 sounds like the Cantonese word for "death" but oddly sounds like the Shanghainese word for water so is considered lucky in the city of Shanghai. In most of China they skip the number 4 in building floors (including 40-49) but in Shanghai those floors might actually exist because the number 4 is lucky there.

  • Some publishers claim Apple 'playing favorites' with Apple News+

(I literally just tested every one of your "complaints" and discovered that only the one about a word search was true. Maybe spend a little time learning to use the program?)

Even still, it's not like you're trapped into the app - if there are more complicated tasks (including ones that weren't listed) one can copy the contents, or open it in safari, or run a shortcut, or send it to another app etc, etc, etc.
I'm curious what purpose it serves to tell someone they are wrong without contributing to the dialog by explaining why they are wrong. I would love to be told why I'm wrong! I can handle the truth!

By the way, you can't copy or select text from many of the pages in News app including the home page. I recommend that you try before you conclude otherwise (I hope you are not too embarrassed by that error.)

Oh, by the way, the News app crashes a lot, even as I was trying to test your unsubstantiated claims. It crashes once an hour. Of course maybe I'm wrong on that too and you can explain why.
