    I wouldn't go that far. Every single developer cares. The notch is the stupidest thing to ever come to the concept of the computer display. And only arrogant Apple could get away with it.


    Now you are just talking silly. Every developer cares?  Apple is arrogant and getting away with something because they chose to deal with the Face ID cameras in this way until the tech allows otherwise?  Come on now... .

    Well, there was always the option to long-press the TV button (next to the Menu button) to invoke the "Sleep" option.
    I thought the same thing.. I use this function to sleep my device every morning before I leave for work.

    Aren't the content/ad blockers separate apps that need to be updated for Ipad OS?  Or is there a content blocker in Safari that no longer works?  I don't use them so I don't know, but I would thing it would be up to developers to update their individual apps after an OS update?

    It's only day 2 so I am thinking they may be working on it?  Just a thought..

    While I can appreciate what you're saying, I have an SE and it works great, but I'm looking at getting an 11. I'd love it if they brought out a new SE with an edge to edge screen in the same chassis, but I'm not expecting one. I think the SE and the 5C were experiments that Apple tried, but were not profitable enough to continue. If you can get an SE, grab it while you can, they are closing out the last of the old stock and it won't be around much longer.

    That's the same reason I'm going from my SE to an 11. So I can make the font bigger. My old eyes just don't see tiny letters well any more. But I figure if I have to upgrade I might as well get the most current iPhone I can afford. Who knows how long the 8 will still be supported, still be getting updates.
    Amen!  B) my 40 something eyes and larger hands just can't handle that small of a phone anymore..
