  • Editorial: Thankful for iPhone X

Daniel:  this was a great piece. In my opinion it’s says it all. I have the iPhone X and it nothing short of astounding.  To all those malcontents who whine about the article being too long, or disingenuous, or all the other things in the world we should be thankful for, wake up!  Technology drives much of our lives, and Apple has clearly steered clear of all the venal aspects such such as fake news, massive advertising and insufficient privacy.  At my Thanksgiving dinner, people talked exclusively about their lives and the things they were thankful for and the sad things going on in the world and our country right now. No one said they were thankful for the new iPhone. But, if something makes you feel good, makes you smile and advances your everyday life in terms of genuine commiunications with family and friends, access to great music, and tv experiences and instant information about what’s going on in the world around them, then there is nothing wrong at all about appreciating the great advances that Apple has made.  Are they perfect? No, but even they recognize that.  And others have made great strives as well.  Relax, eat some leftover turkey and send a funny Animoji to your favorite people..

  • Editorial: Apple survived 2016's onslaught of fake news and failed competitors

An absolutely wonderful piece.  It says, much better than I have been saying, just how wrong the pundits have been and how Apple has been a specific target,  it may sell ads when such rubbish is written, but it prompts intelligent people to just stop reading the posts. Many sites would do themselves a favor by ceasing to publish garbage and poor journalism.  I, for one, have stopped reading any sites that publish garbage

  • Editorial: Apple's AirPods, iPhone 7, Series 2 Watch out... journalists

This is one of the best pieces I have read in a long time.  It's wonderful to read such a comprehensive and thorough review of the massive shortcomings of so many of the tech journalists.  Sadly, it's not just the small players, but publications that consider themselves real journalism professionals are just as bad, most notably the New York Times whose tech reporters are totally biased and uninformed, and Forbes, which has so many stringers putting out garbage.  Thank yo for such an incisive article.  It might not change things too much, but it made my day.

  • Maricopa County Attorney bans employees from getting new iPhones, says Apple is 'on the side of ter

Someone should remind this wise person that (1) Apple has spent mega millions of dollars to build facilities in Arizona thereby enabling a large number of jobs for residents of Arizona and (2) he has the authority to add software onto these phones to allow them access if they so choose. I am sure there are many other States that would welcome Apple's business.

  • 'Apple Watch 2' might not make anticipated March debut, report says

I love my Sport 42. I wear it everyday, and I use it often in about a dozen different ways.

I don't really care if an Apple Watch 2 comes soon or not. Whenever it comes, I'll get one, though.
Me too!  I am growing more and more tired I'd the whining and criticism of why this revolutionary product is so bad.  Just a few years ago, this simply a pipe dream, and now that it is here so many people complain it isn't perfect.  Well, welcome to the world of innovative technology.
