iOS 18 saw below average adoption despite Apple Intelligence
My suspicion is that, while there may be some people who specifically don’t want AI, there are far more who are simply ambivalent and when it’s touted as the big new feature the response is a big “Meh. If that’s all I’m getting, why should I upgrade?”
Count me among them. I haven’t found a big use for AI in my life. I guess it helps kids cheat by having it write their essays, and the folks at the Apple store love to gush about how it can edit your photos for you but I’ve found little use for it in my life. -

iMessage flaw may have allowed for zero-click targeted attacks
“Apple responds with skepticism” - well, admitting that a bug in your software was exploited isn’t a viable response for the PR department. In reality, I doubt any one can definitively prove or disprove whether such an attack occurred. It’s just another reminder how complex and interconnected all the handy systems on our phones are and how important it is for Apple, Google and security researchers to keep up with the cat and mouse game of quashing bugs. -
White House says Trump doesn't want to harm Apple and iPhone prices won't rise
Completely agree with the above comments, but here's the bigger issue - the White House and government in general should not be making policies for or against any specific corporation. They should be making policies for the good of the country and the economy. This story is just another example of how corrupt this administration is.
