I encourage you to actually listen to this album for what it is. This is not her standard pop fare, or even a return to her country days. This is a very mellow, introspective, soft sound that I don't think she's really had before, and I quite enjoy it! I haven't been a huge Taylor Swift fan ever since she started leaning more towards the pop side, but this album is actually, pretty excellent.

It's a very well done show that my wife and I really enjoy and had no reason to be bashed as much as it was at launch simply because it was made by Apple. Now, saying that, taste is definitely subjective, and just because I like it or other people like it doesn't mean you will.  I suggest giving it a shot to see what you think, though.
