I don't know which is more disturbing to me: spending $30-$40 on a case to hold a case, or that people will actually BUY these useless accessories.

    0 of 5 stars.
Another product that must be garbage just because JP234 doesn’t have a need for it. This is becoming a daily occurrence around here.

Your stars mean absolutely nothing if they’re only based on your obtuse opinion (again) rather than the real feedback of someone who’s actually used and experienced the product.

I’ve used cheap knock-off AirPod cases that cost $5 on Amazon, and I’ve used quality AirPod cases that cost  $30-$40…and I can honestly say that you get what you pay for. So sorry if you find that, or me, disturbing, lol.

So, how much money have you wasted on buying cases for your AirPod case? Looks like you've bought multiple examples of both cheap and expensive ones. They must have drooled when they saw you coming!
    Sick burn.
    1 cheap $5 case - returned. $0 wasted.
    2 ($30-40) cases* - still being used. $0 wasted.

I also bought a pair of Comply foam tips for around $25 ($0 wasted)…how fucking disturbing is that?

    Anything else?

    Ugh, what a horrible idea.

Why would anybody want to pay for a phone in perpetuity?  I'll keep doing it right, I'll buy a phone and own it.
What is it like to not be lack the ability abstract and think beyond your own personal situation? It sounds really awful.
What is it like buying stuff you don't need, and can't afford, using revolving debt, and paying twice as much as the person who buys what he can afford, when he can afford it?
How do you know any of this applies to their situation? You make a lot of personal assumptions about someone just because they are an advocate for choice.

He's an advocate for high interest, revolving debt, NOT choice. Once you sign that contract or agree to terms you didn't vother to read, you gave up choice.
Ok chief. Whatever you say. You seem to know everything about everything and everyone, so I’ll defer to your expertise.

    Apocalypse

    First they replaced the cleaners
    And I did not object
Because nobody likes mopping and vacuuming

Then they replaced the factory workers
    And I did not object
Because those were boring jobs I would never want

Then they replaced the writers, artists, and musicians
    And I did not object
Because I was not talented, I just wanted the results

    Then they replaced the drivers
    And I did not object
Because I assumed they would be safer and less expensive

    Then they replaced the soldiers
    And I did not object
Because it’s better to not put people in danger, and anyway war is always amoral

Then they replaced the engineers, planners, and designers
    And I did not object
Because I just wanted their products, for cheap

Then they replaced the reporters, investigators, the watchdogs
    And I did not object
Because it was all bad news anyway and I had stopped paying attention

    Then they replaced me
And there was no one left to object
Because everyone around was poor, jobless, and homeless, they had no voice

I came across a man in the gutter
He said he once was once rich, he ran the company
But they replaced him too, to save costs

As I looked out over the ugly, grey, joyless, landscape
Governed by unfeeling, unaesthetic, uncaring, efficiency
I understood now that The Robot Apocalypse was self inflicted

Wow. I’m familiar with the source upon which this is based (the confessional of Niemöller), but I’ve never seen this variation. Is this an original by you? And is it published? It’s excellent either way.
