Apple earns record $64B in fourth quarter as services soar to $12.5B
Another record quarter?! WOW. How many record quarters can Apple announce? Tim's tongue must feel sore every time he says "record quarter".
Services is the real winner here! Remember almost everyone was using their free Arcade trial and TV+ hasn't rolled out. This leads me to believe either a lot of new users purchased AppleCare or News+ isn't doing as bad as analysts think.
Now take in the fact Arcade and TV+ revenue will be bundled in next quarters revenue.

AirPods Pro now available in Apple Stores worldwide
Appleish said:I was in my first line in years at an Apple Store today. At my suburban store there were about ten of us waiting. The one in the city had a line around the block, I hear.
They sound great, for semi-closed buds. The noise cancellation is pretty incredible. Went to a noisy Whole Foods and shopped while experimenting. The squeeze to toggle between noise cancelation and "transparency" works really well. At the cashier, I clicked once to cut off Music, then squeezed to hear her.
The controls are different. I have tapped a couple of times, but I will get used to it. I'll be keeping my standard pair for using around home, but taking my Pros out on the street and to the gym.
Hype would have been better if Apple gave people more notice. -
Apple uploads 'See' first-look featurette to YouTube
riss said:No one can see, but they all are dressed in fitting clothes, accessories and styled hair ... thx but no thx, you ain’t getting my eyes wasted on such rubbish
Oh please give me a break!! They're dressed fitting for a futuristic post apocalyptic world of blind people.
This is set in the far future and they're dressed like cavemen devoid of technology.
If you're gonna nitpick about inaccuracies and plot holes you should stick to watching documentaries(which are edited by the way). -
Apple gearing up to sell 80 million 5G iPhones in 2020

Another iPhone X feature ahead of its time.
This is in the Germantown, TN area.

I love it when you spam this screenshot! It never gets old!
Makes me wonder how many knockoff iPhones will display "5G" for the heck of it since users know no better. Android is the sh**-brain of every community. They get taken advantage so much and never notice.
When Apple finally does 5G they will do it right and carriers will all follow. I'm betting Apple will put an end to this marketing sham by carriers(reference above screenshot). Then the usual iKnockoff Knights will claim "Apple copied X knockoff iPhone!".
2020 does not seem early for Apple modems since we have no idea how far ahead Intel was at the time of acquisition.avon b7 said:leavingthebigg said:Does any Android followers here have any ship/sale estimates of 5G enabled phones? Also, do you have any personal experience with Android 5G enabled phones you are willing to share?
5G is rolling out far faster than 4G and beginning this December 5G will already hit the middle ground as brands like Honor push their 5G offerings.
China has accelerated its 5G roll out.
Switzerland is also rolling out fast. Next month Sunrise will go live with 5G 4K gaming.

Anyone who buys a knockoff iPhone for over $200 is a doofus. This is why I forgive the people who replace their 50 buck knockoff every 2 months.
