New iOS, iPadOS and macOS updates fix many security issues, including Safari bug
Good to know this is a thing. I thought it was just my iPad not getting messages banners or sounds. It also would be nice if Apple would return the function to Siri to let her add to existing notes and read emails from VIPs. Return all deleted Siri function, in fact. It always seems as if Siri is an afterthought with Apple, and by the lack of new information anywhere to be found about Siri consumers have followed Apple‘s lead. I know I find potential AR more useful. Not. -
Happy birthday to Siri, the first and most frustrating voice assistant
silly me. I was hoping that for Siri‘s 10th birthday Apple would give her awesome functionality and new features and fix the old ones that were broken. I used to be able to say “add” to my text message whenever I thought of some thing else that I had meant to say. It won’t take that anymore. Or “change.” Well, at least they didn’t boast about giving her another, better new voice. If they had I think I would’ve thrown my iPad up against the wall. -

Future versions of Apple's Siri may interpret your emotions
I thought at first that Siri was getting better but now it seems to be going backwards. Functionality that I had a few months ago is gone. I used to be able to ask Siri the percentage of battery charge on my iPad which was helpful if I didn’t have my glasses on and couldn’t see the little battery amount. Now it says I’m sorry I don’t know the battery status of iPad. Also, I used to be able to ask Siri to read my email, now it just opens the email app. And I used to be able, when dictating a text message and realized I had forgotten something, to just say “add” and she would say go ahead and add that to my text, now the added portion is all that gets sent. I just would be content if she would resume her old functionality.
