Curious what is critically important that you need AOD?  I have an SE and my eyeballs can't see it in any other direction than face up.  When I do that, the screen comes on instantly.  When I tilt my wrist back down, the screen goes off, saving battery.

Lightning is thinner, allowing more room for electronics, and thinner cases. And thin is in, baby!

Is there actually anything over or under the lightning port inside an iPhone?  The teardown pics don't show much of anything.  What electronics would be squeezed out if a USB-C port were installed?

This is good in that it will accelerate the development of even better (i.e., faster and more power) USB-C chargers and cables.  As it is now, PD charging standard goes to 100W.  Some more powerful laptops need 130W or even 230W and require a proprietary USB-C charger as the PD standard does not go that high.

This might spur the ratification of better PD charging limits and over time, prices will come down as supply increases.

I see it as a win-win.

Maybe they do when they work for one of (if not THE) richest companies in the world and live in the most expensive city in the US and said company doesn't pay them a livable wage.  

He was laughing at the joke until he turned and saw his wife wasn't laughing.  He could have (should have) sat in his seat and yelled at Chris Rock the same thing he yelled after the slap.  Same effect.  He'd have been a hero in his wife's eye's and the public's eyes.  Instead, violence.  He lessened the value of an Oscar after "#OscarsSoWhite" to the point that one has to wonder if the award is really given on merit or quota?  I don't watch anymore and have stopped watching any WS movies (except for Enemy of the State every now and then).

Will Will Smith be the next Mel Gibson or will we forgive and forget?
