Trump demands 25% tariff on any iPhone not made in the US
1) Apple is down 3% and I'm sure Trump and his cronies were short selling this week and will then repurchase right before Trump announces that Apple doesn't have to pay 25% on tariffs.
2) What did Cook expect to happen by allowing himself to be extorted by Trump? Once you let a wannabe dictator extort you it's going to keep happening. -
After a lengthy legal battle and billion-dollar loss, 'Fortnite' is back on iOS

The big companies never cared about the small fry developer (as portrayed Sweeney Todd) its like saying, Elon cares he doesn’t refer to the way Adobe is behaving now with their new subscription plan, what is funny is all of the software companies who think they’re gonna have a subscription here and a subscription there similar to the way all those tv/video/movie production houses, cable internet/channels (including Apple) thought there was a pot of gold with endless subscriptions but there is a finite limitation for the average person/family.
The mark/customer doesn’t have a source of endless monetary resources to have 20 monthly subscriptions going at the same time, we may be headed back to the good old days where you bought something upfront once and that’s it, I have four subscriptions, Netflix, PBS, Apple and BritBox that’s it and there will be no more than that how many do you have? And that number is across all content mediums, video, music, software yep-that’s it just four….

Apple Pay increasing in popularity online as shoppers seek speed & security
Adjacent topic: If you have an Apple Card and haven't gone into Wallet » clicked the ellipsis in the upper-right corner » Account Details » Message to request a "credit limit increase" within the past year I recommend doing so. Even if you pay off your card monthly the CC companies will usually report before your payment is due and the percentage of your used credit at the time of the report will count against you as a percentage of your used revolving credit. -
Apple Filing Protocol will soon disappear completely from macOS

Funny, that’s how I feel about SMB.
This sums up the general rule that I'm aware of: "There is no single better protocol, as NFS and SMB each have their own strengths and weaknesses. NFS is generally faster for transferring small to medium files, especially when encryption is used, and is better suited for Linux environments. SMB, especially modern versions like SMB3, performs better with large files and is more common in Windows-based environments."

WWDC 2025 is very soon, and Apple is detailing the schedule

It rather looks like a political statement since Trump has pushed all companies to remove the diversity program.
After Siri is massively failed, I expect an underwhelming event, which is not held live anyway (for years already).
