They're already walking back the electronics tariff. They are making huge buys in the market and then telling the media what they need to cause the stocks to go their way.

I find it interesting that around 30 years ago Star Trek invented the Ferengi, a completely corrupt, mercantile society whose morality was driven only by profit. They were created as a parody and a warning. Now we have someone with Ferengi sensibilities leading the US. What’s next, creating the Torment Nexus for fun and profit? 

I would infinitely prefer to have Quark as president rather than Trump.

No. I had no idea. Thanks for the heads up. I'll catch it when it hits Prime Video Spain. I see it's listed here but to put on my watch list so I imagine it won't be long now. 

If you liked how Blackadder tipped into historical elements I think you'll love how Upstart Crow follows the timeline of Shakespeare's career with a surprising amount of accuracy for a sitcom. I'm also a big of David Mitchell* for whom Ben Elton wrote the role.

*Mitchell played the PC in Apple's "Get a Mac" ads that aired in the UK.

He's also quite good in BBC's Ludwig, which is just out now in the US.

You are probably one of those people that look at the turnout of his rallies and say, "clearly Trump has more votes," without the faintest comprehension that most people don't attend such things. That's probably why you still believe Trump won the election in 2020 that he clearly lost despite him trying to cheat... outside of him telling you that he actually won by more votes in human history.

Seriously, what crimes would it take for you to not to be on his side? You used to post about libertarianism ideals where you simply wanted smaller gov't that didn't interfere in our lives. It was always myopic because you failed to have a path for that outcome or see how things would cascade in negative ways as a result, but at least it had a focus on smaller gov't. Now it's simply your TDS where whatever that idiot says has to brilliant, even when he contradicts himself — sometimes mid-sentence — and when he's destroying the lives of the American people.

Enough with your jingoistic "America first" BS. You don't really believe that or you wouldn't be on board with countless people losing their livelihoods or people who are in the US legally being sent to a high security prison in a country they've never been to.

PS: Stop falling for this lie that the American people are being victimized by every other nation on earth (which is an oblate spheroid, BTW, not flat). That isn't to say that the American people aren't being wronged, but it's from within. But despite being the victim you still have a personal responsibility to not allow yourself to be victimized.
