    As I've said before, if you're using Wallet on your Apple Watch don't use the default 4-digit PIN. Any other length PIN will require you to hit enter to authenticate and of course a longer PIN makes the number of potential guesses more involved.

    Market cap of EA is $36B. So they were probably asking $50B.
    How quickly we forget that Bungie's Halo was demoed at MacWorld Expo in 1999 as the game that will pull gamers into the Mac before MS bought the entire company for $30M after Jobs turned them down. Note they went to Apple first to get bought.

    Then a lot of work had to go into making Halo work on the Xbox that would launch 2 years later. How much as the Halo franchise taken in? It's almost as if reworking a great game concept for their platform was financially viable for them.

    The pandemic has ushered in an orgy of price gouging from corporations. Profit margins in general are well above what you would expect if they were simply passing along increased costs to consumers.
    This is happening because US government since Trump has suppressed competition from China. The notable example is the killing of Huawei.
    Since Trump? Trump was POTUS back in 2012? That’s news to me.

    Trump signed an executive order in 2019, but he didn’t need to since there was already a bipartisan bill in the senate for this ongoing concern that was going to pass. He simply did what was going to happen because it played well to his jingoistic agenda. As noted  by your post, you give him credit and erase 7 years, and the entire senate, and everyone else involved. You are clearly some of the people that can be fooled all of the time.

    We’re sick of PC garbage. Fresh and Fit is the fastest growing podcast for a reason. Though “podcast” isn’t the word I would call it. With ZERO funding from media and tech. They also have shows on how to make money which the PC people ignore.

    Look at Netflix, Dave Chapelle brought in a ton of viewers with his real unfiltered, unscripted comedy. even the article states that Netflix is considering a live version of the Netflix is a Joke show! When Netflix brought feel-good, fake, scripted PC-BULLSH**, millions of users unsubscribed in protest. (Look it up).

    You have Oprah who’s possibly the most famous woman in the world with her PC feel-good delusion on Apple TV, funded by the richest company in the world and Fresh & Fit, two nobodies, who’s tarted the show from
    nothing now taking over YouTube. Apple TV doesn’t need them but how many people have watched that Apple-backed Oprah crap on Apple TV? No one. And she was the lead rep at the Apple TV launch! This isn’t 1993 anymore. 

    You’re comparing the world’s most powerful people with literally BILLIONS of dollars to 2 men who started a show in their apartment (like a garage…). And the guys in the garage are winning viewers!!

    I’m not saying Apple has to drop fairy tale stories but actual reality is what people are slowly gravitating to. Almost every app is adding a live section from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram to Tik Tok. Originally these apps didn’t care about live.

    You can go watch Oprah with the 10 other people and I’ll watch real live content with user interaction.

  • Apple's Self Repair Program was never going to be what repair advocates wanted

    Be careful what you ask for. Apple will play ball and beat you at your own game. If I am going to repair my own devices going forward do I want to spend more money on cheap tools and 3rd-party components or buy OEM parts with a quality tool rental? I've used iFixit for a very long time but II think I'll go with the latter from here on out.
