It doesn't say anything about applying only to former slaves. There aren't any restrictions at all such as that their parents are citizens, or even in the country legally. It clearly and simply says, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States." There's no wiggle room there. The idea that The Constitution can be amended by executive order is a pill too bitter for even the corrupt right wing of SCOTUS to swallow. But, you know, maybe they'll go along, and then the next President (or, who knows, maybe even this one) can simply repeal the 2nd Amendment by executive order.
edit: I expect him to try to make it "legal" for him to run for a 3rd term once we get to year 3. -

I'm afraid this country has been lost to fascism forever. The fascists here will say that I'm just throwing out that term, but it's definition is very simply "an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization" which is exactly what they voted for and got and — on a more complex note — shown off by the broligarchy that accompanied him yesterday.
Can you imagine if Biden had done that or if Obama had dared not get sworn in on the Bible? The so-called conservative media wouldn't have stop harping in. I know this because they slammed Obama for months over wearing a tan suit. It's kinda amazing what people will chose to accept when their focus is on stripping the rights and freedoms of minorities instead of actually being self aware, mature, and fair enough to want a level playing field in life. -

and why not call it the Gulf of America? It isn’t as though the left aren’t busy changing place names all the time.
2) What place names are constantly changing by this left? I certainly haven't noticed this so it would be great if you could back up your comment with recent examples.
PS: I am genuinely curious to know from the Trump supporter on this forum believe that a person can only be born as either male or female. Or, if XX and XY chromosomes are the only way to define people as male or female (as was an issue during the most recent Summer Olympics). -

It's said that he US can survive 4 years of a bad president. Typically I'd agree, except we're not dealing with someone that loves the US who is moving things in a direction that's not sustainable. We're dealing with a traitor who owes Putin and who won't hesitate to destroy every aspect of this country to protect himself. There is no honorable person who will be in charge in a couple weeks.
What's sad is that I know some Trump supporters. The ones I know personally are just politically ignorant. They literally have the Fox News logo burned into their TV and think Tucker Carlson was news (when he was on). They're old, early duped, and easily scared by a changing world. They are simply easy marks for being scammed. Then there are others who simply want to see everything burn — and I see several on this website. They don't think Trump will actually help them, but love the idea that someone else like them, with no moral fiber, who hates woman, who hates foreigners, and for some reason are fine with a pedophile as POTUS. This group isn't being duped by Trump's grift, they simply want to see it destroyed because they are too insecure to admit that they're failures because of their own life choices and inadequacies.
