Not to be that guy, but it’s “Which”, not “What”.

I think the economy is a factor, but also we’ve had about two years of buying up to the new Apple Silicon Macs, so a lot of Mac users are pretty comfortably on the new platform.

The only way I won’t be a flop is if it can do something truly amazing or life-changing to the level. I can justify the cost that’s how computers, iPods, iPhones, iPads, and mostly watches, have been able to do well. I hope they surprise us, but it took me years to even want an Apple Watch lol. 

Having used the new MacBooks Pros, and seeing the specs, I can guarantee the display on the MacBook Pros are significantly better. Especially is you install Vivid to unlock the full 100-nit brightness for day to day use. Otherwise, the Macs are probably better to have for just about anything, unless you're trying to play a high end Windows-specific game that is too much to run inside Parallels or VMware.

Long term owner of these here. They kind of suck, I wouldn’t buy them again. I’ve had one show up dead. The seller replaced it for me. Then a few months later, another one died.

The bigger issue for me is that every couple of weeks to months, they stop working, and I have to unplug them for a few seconds and plug it back in to power cycle them. It’s not a huge deal, but the whole point of having a smart plug is to have reliable access to turn them on and off when you’re not in the same room or house, and setting things such as timers.

maybe I just bought them during a time when they were some bad batches, but I definitely wouldn’t buy this product again.
