    I am for a thorough investigation of ties — especially any less-than-savory ties — between US tech and China, but this sounds like a grandstanding exercise and a fishing expedition.

    Why was Apple the only US tech company called? Moreover, to put Apple on the same platform as TikTok, a silly, 13-year olds’ social-site-du-jour is insulting. Sounds to me like the Congressional equivalent of a cheap click-bait.

    I don’t stream so I use neither, but anecdotal evidence from the past many months from co-workers and family members (and their friends) does seem to favor Spotify.

    I think there has been some "pre-ponement" of buying in anticipation of the Oct 15 tariffs (which again may go up further in December). For example, two people in my family, who might have normally waited for Christmas, decided to get theirs early.

    I’ve had the silver stainless steel twice (currently have the black stainless steel which is even more beautiful), and I can say that both of those Watches served me very well. Almost no scratches at all on either. And quite classy looking.

    Let’s see now. CBS, NBC, Disney, HBO (and competitors), Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Amazon Prime, Spotify/AppleMusic/Amazon, various sundry sports channels (NFL Gamepass, MLB, NBA), high-speed internet, mobile plan... what am I missing. 

    And this just the beginning. How laughably stupid can these people get?

    I think I’ll just keep my Xfinity and not worry about all this nonsense.
