AI - could you list the apps that take advantage of the Dynamic Lake (tm) that surrounds the Dynamic Island.

I give Apple an “A” for the cojones to market this as a feature. As said here in a previous post, the new position makes it appear a bit more like a UI element instead of dead space - but it is a trick. It obviously would still be better to not have this screen real estate interrupted by the camera/sensor assembly - though that is obviously easier said than done when Apple (and other phone mfg) want to market an edge to edge screen.

It’s going to take more than 8 years to have a billion people engaged with the metaverse if ‘a’ metaverse is even established by that time. The hardware needs to improve- the software needs to improve and there needs to be the compelling feature(s) to draw users in.  Just don’t see it being affordable and compelling enough in that timeframe.

Apple should use this opportunity to add in the ‘Shutting Down Soon’ banner. At least they’ll be able to leverage this effort for that future date later next year.

Both screens would need to be touch screens or the laptop would be super lame. "You can touch this but not that" would be confusing to everyone.
