Apple Watch outsold all of the Swiss watch industry by sales volume in 2019

The idea that these brands are producing a high-value, quality item is purely marketing. It’s typical fashion “thin end of the wedge marketing”.
Are you saying that Apple Watches are disposables compared to luxury Swiss watches? And Apple may have similar ASP to many Swiss watches, but there are others that are miles ahead of Apple ASP, and high end customers have no problem purchasing them. Compare that to a $10K Apple Watch Edition, that is stuck at Watch OS 4, and was discontinued after a year and a half. Do you think this is a good sign for a "luxury" watch? For the price of a “luxury” Swiss watch, I can buy a stainless steel Apple Watch every year for over a decade - then just give them away for free to friends after the year is up.Also the ASP for Swiss watches is not as high as some people might think. While apple doesn’t disclose figures, I think it’s a fair bet to say that they have comparable ASPs.
I can afford to buy and replace an Apple Watch over and over again for my lifetime cheaper than someone can afford to buy, clean, adjust, and repair a Tag Heuer over its lifetime, and I certainly can expect a hell of a lot more productivity from the Apple Watch than you can ever obtain from your Tag Heuer, whose purpose is almost certainly bling, with a side of time. That a Tag Heuer may have some value to collectors is not all that relevant. -

Why in order to hurt you when you step on them of course, just in case your kids put away their legos. -

Apple among companies sued over 'brutal' child labor

Or sue the mine owners, or go after the end users because they will not give up their cheap electronics.
Why didn't the last US administration add lithium and cobalt to the list of conflict mineral list coming out the Congo. This is nothing new for the Congo. If Apple is liable because they purchase cobalt for LiPo batteries, shouldn’t every person who owns a device powered by a LiPo battery be similarly liable. While we’re at it, extend that same liability to the countries that allow the import of said LiPo batteries, whether it be in finished product or as a component. -
Unlikely rumor claims 'iPhone SE 2' will be called 'iPhone 9'

I know that names don't matter much, but I REALLY wish Apple would revert and revise the entire "X" naming scheme and pony up to the bar with the simple "10." Just call and forever refer to the damn thing in print as an iPhone 10, iPhone 10s, iPhone 10s Max, etc., and bury the silly "X" naming scheme like it never happened. There's nothing cooler that saying "My iPhone is a perfect 10." You know and I know that 90% of people call the "iPhone ten" the "iPhone Ex." Just imagine the horror of appending an "X" to the iPhone SE successor.
The Roman Empire collapsed. Leave it buried.
