Apple unveils 5th-gen iPad mini with Apple Pencil support, better Retina display
CAEatmon@yahoo.com said:The new Pencil is a much more premium experience for Pro iPads. The 1st Gen Pencil still is industry leading & its cheaper for regular note taking.CAEatmon@yahoo.com said:Can someone please explain to me why Apple would release new devices with the old tools (Apple Pencil). I upgraded my pro and kinda feel slapped in the face by this but love the size of the mini.racerhomie3 said:rogifan_new said:So if you have the latest Pro and also would like a mini for portability you can’t share a Pencil across the devices. How ridiculous.
Yep, you know it's rogifan with the never-ending, fake concern-trolling and the weird-ass scenarios he conjures up to justify that trolling. How many people who use a new iPad Pro with a pencil, also have an ADDITIONAL iPad mini for "portability" that they also use the pencil with? Like, what percentage of people is this? Like 0.000001%? And it's "ridiculous" that this may not be ideal for that cross-section of maybe 4 people in the world? Ok. -
Apple Watch continues wearables market domination with 10.4M holiday shipments
Never forget, all the shits mocking and deriding the Apple Watch when it was first revealed, viciously attacking Cook and making grand assumptions of how it would be a complete failure, a "toy", and the big embarrassment in Apple's history. This was the majority opinion on this, and other Apple centric forums and tech blogs. I doubt any of these people ever had the self awareness or honesty or retract their words.
My wife now leaves home 75% of the time without her iPhone. She uses the Apple Watch for everything including payments, unlocking/looking door, mapping, activity tracking, communication, safety, etc. She always hated carrying a phone with her in most situations, so this has been a game changer. It's an insanely impressive product in terms of overall scope, software, and hardware and perhaps is the purest distillation of what Apple's all about. -
Apple's Dan Riccio responds to bent iPad Pro reports, says device 'meets or exceeds' produ...

"We don't ship junk"
Steve Jobs
You really think the new iPad is "junk"? It's probably the most impressive product Apple has ever made. We live in an age where there's tons of assholes and trolls with nothing better to do than to obsess over anything Apple releases to try and come out with the next "gate" and proclaim that the company is finished. Even these "bent" iPads are imperceptible during actual usage, and the only people who really pretend to give a shit are those are fantasize about Apple being wiped out of existence anyway. Steve shipped alot more "junk" than this iPad. -
Google's Pixel 3 XL is no match for Apple's iPhone XS Max at Fortnite
Everything about the Pixel 3 is trash, from the notch, to the performance, to the build, to the numerous OS bugs. Not to mention no wireless charging, no water resistance rating, etc. This is a generation or two behind the XS, and even XR, and is selling for around the same price. What happened to Google's phones being an "amazing value" vs Apple's "over-priced" devices? The XS absolutely decimates the Pixel 3 in every single spec. -
Apple unveils all new 13-inch MacBook Air with Retina display, Thunderbolt 3 and more

But no FaceID. Maybe next year...
Edit: yup. No headphone jack on the iPad Pro. Gonna be a lot of dongles hanging off that sucker ...
